CoolMath4Kids - How Addition Works This website helps students learn basic addition by presenting the addition visually, making it easier for students to grasp.  (contributed by Sara Potter, MCC Student, Winter 2007)

MathsIsFun - Mathionaire Addition Quiz: This is a website set up much like the game "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" and it asks simple addition problems that the child must answer to reach the million dollar mark. The problems progressively get larger as the amounts of money increase. This also helps enforce the concept of money. (contributed by Alyssa Nauta, MCC Student, Winter 2007)

Tackle Math Ball: Play an interactive game of football by answering addition and subtraction problems. If the answers are correct, your team will gain yards, complete passes, and score touchdowns. You goal is to win the overall football game. This helps students learn and practice easy addition and subtraction through a football game. (contributed by Shannon Whitlow, MCC Student, Winter 2007)

NLVM Chip Abacus: This is a website that deals with place values and has a chart on it where the teacher is able to add and take away from each place value. Not only does it do base ten, but it also does base 2 and 5. This is a good tool for the teacher and students. It is called a chip abacus. (contributed by Alyssa Nauta, MCC Student, Winter 2007)

KidsNumbers Addition Is Fun: This website has four interactive activities that children can play to learn and practice adding numbers. The Addition Missing Number is the most fun game out of the four. (contributed by Jenny Dehoff, MCC Student, Winter 2007)
