While there are many books that are about the history of math & science, some are really not applicable for classroom use. Here I'd like to review some books that do provide some history, along with providing some information for specific uses of the material
in the classroom, if appropriate.
The Calculus Wars (2006), by Jason Socrates Bardi. I am about two chapters into this book and it seems like a good read so far. I am thinking about assigning
this one to my Calculus II class next year. More after I finish the book.
If you have read a book that you think does provide good classroom use, and are willing to provide a review that includes applicable classroom information, please let me know and I will post it.
