Chautauqua Short Courses for College Teachers
These are sponsored by the National Science Foundation.  I have attended two of the math-related short courses and found them both to be a worthwhile endeavor. Also a good way to network and meet colleagues at other institutions.  Chautauqua Course List
  • Classroom Management: How to Teach Like a Pro (St.Petersburg FL, January 3-5, 2008)

I heard a rumor that the Chautauqua courses did not get funded through 2008, so I'm not sure if there will be any more of these.
